ISELIN, NJ, APRIL 21, 2022 - Ansell is pleased to announce it has been awarded an EcoVadis Silver medal based on internal and external data from our 2021 fiscal year. EcoVadis is an internationally recognised sustainability rating company that rated 90,000 companies in 2021 across four broad themes: Environmental, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. The assessment’s results placed Ansell in the top 25% of companies rated by EcoVadis overall, and the top 6% of those rated within our industry.

EcoVadis assessments follow verifiable international CSR standards, such as the Global Compact Principles, the conventions of the International Labour Organization, Global Reporting Initiative Standards, and ISO 26000. Their analyses focus on 21 broadly recognized CSR criteria, from environmental impact management in operations and products to working conditions and sustainable procurement. The objective of the EcoVadis rating process is to assess the quality of a company's sustainability management system through evidence as well as controversy screening. Each company is individually assessed based on strict validation methodology. Questionnaires assigned to each company are devised in accordance with certain contextual elements, including size, location, and the industry in which they operate. The analysis conducted and the final score attributed is weighted accordingly.
