SMART Pack: Smart For the Cleanroom

In the highly controlled environment of cleanrooms, protecting the product is paramount. Designed with cleanroom requirements, transfer, and handling in mind, SMART Pack ensures optimal product protection while supporting environmental sustainability. The journey begins with automation. As shown in our Automated Packing Process video, SMART Pack’s design ensures minimal human contact, drastically reducing contamination risks. Each step of the packing process: placing gloves on the inner wrap, folding the wrap, and sealing the pouch, is carefully executed by machines to ensure sterility and precision.

SMART Pack: Smart For the Environment

Every element of SMART Pack is designed to minimize its environmental impact. By making pouches 56% smaller, we’re saving over 20.4 tons of plastic annually, the equivalent of 2 million plastic water bottles1. The shipper cases, now 15% smaller and 30% lighter2, improve transportation efficiency, allowing us to ship 18% more gloves per shipment3.

Smaller, lighter shipper cases considerably reduce CO2 emissions from 117 tonnes to 90 tonnes annually. Equating to 73,340 fewer miles driven by delivery vans - that's almost 3 times around the globe!4

Beyond reducing plastic waste, we’ve eliminated paper Instructions for Use (IFU) by including a QR code directly on the packaging. This transition to digital Instructions for Use (IFU) saves 17 trees annually5 while making information more accessible and convenient for users.
