In announcing the new appointment, Ansell Chairman Glenn Barnes said “We are delighted to have attracted Christine to our board, where she will bring new and contemporary skills and experiences that are complementary to those of the current directors, and will cover gaps created by recent and planned retirements. The combination of Christine’s appointment and my retirement in November will bring the gender balance of our board to 50:50, fulfilling a public commitment made by the directors of Ansell.”
