Philippe H. Rommel

General Counsel

Philippe has been with Ansell since 2012, joining as Associate General Counsel for the EMEA region. Over the years his responsibilities expanded and increased, with him assuming the role of Vice President and Associate General Counsel for the EMAP region in 2015, and Global Operations and as Deputy General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer in 2017. Philippe was appointed General Counsel in September 2024. Prior to joining Ansell, Philippe held in-house legal roles at International Paper (Belgium) and Goldman Sachs (UK) as well as in private practice at the leading international law firm of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (Belgium). Philippe is from Belgium, received his law degree from KU Leuven (Belgium) and post-graduate law (LL.M.) degrees from King’s College London (UK) and New York University (USA).
