Contact dermatitis and chemical allergies are not a new issue experienced by healthcare workers, but with the impact of COVID-19 to current infection prevention and control practices, problems may have increased with the wearing of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as from gloves and masks. Thankfully, there are practices that can be employed to minimise and manage occupational dermatitis.
