30 April 2020 – Ansell Limited (ASX:ANN), a global leader in safety protection solutions, announces that, at the request of the Board, non-executive director Marissa Peterson has agreed to defer her retirement (planned for the 2020 Annual General Meeting) until the 2021 Annual General Meeting.

In the light of the uncertainties of current global markets amid the Covid-19 pandemic, and the impending CEO succession, it was agreed that Mrs. Peterson’s deep knowledge of the company would be especially valuable over the coming year.

“The Board remains broadly committed to the Board succession plan we adopted in 2017, which aims to see the Board completely renewed by 2021. I’m very happy that Marissa has agreed to contribute to the Board for a further year”, said Ansell Chairman, John Bevan.
