This win recognizes the technology innovation of the Surgical SMART Pack™ and the role its innovative design plays in reducing the carbon footprint of the packaging.

Hospitals and other medical workplaces will further benefit from waste reduction as every packaging element is now made from recyclable materials. The dispenser boxes and cartons are made from 70% and 90% recycled materials respectively. In addition, we have reduced the material thickness of the SMART Pack™ top web and are in the process of changing other materials in the packaging components which, once finalized, will result in a 10% baseline reduction for the SMART Pack™ packaging from FY20.
