For more than 125 years, Ansell has called Australia home. Severe bushfires have been raging across many parts of the country, with more than 15 million acres burned (an area larger than the countries of Belgium and Denmark combined). Sadly, at least 24 people have died, over 1,700 homes have been destroyed, and half a billion animals affected by the fires. Thankfully, we can confirm that all Ansell Australian employees are safe and have not been directly impacted.

As a result of these events, Ansell will donate AU$100,000 to the Australian Red Cross to support emergency relief efforts (including support through evacuation centres, emergency assistance (including cash grants) as well as longer-term recovery programs). In addition, Ansell will also provide up to AU$100,000 in product donations to help with recovery and rebuild efforts.

All Ansell employees worldwide stand together with our colleagues in Australia as they experience and process the unimaginable loss and destruction taking place across their beautiful country.
