February 2026, Cyberjaya, Malaysia – Ansell is proud to announce that its SMART Pack packaging has been named a WorldStar Packaging Award winner in the Medical Device & Pharmaceutical category. Presented by the World Packaging Organisation (WPO), the WorldStar Awards represent one of the most respected global recognitions for packaging innovation.

WorldStar entries are evaluated by a panel of 48 international expert judges representing WPO member countries, with submissions assessed across criteria including product protection, ergonomics, usability, sustainability, quality, marketability, economics, and innovation. SMART Pack was recognized for its user-centered design, strong sustainability credentials, and ability to support efficiency and product protection in demanding healthcare environments.

Eligibility for the WorldStar Awards requires recipients to first win a national or regional packaging award within the previous two years. SMART Pack qualified following its 2025 AmeriStar Award win in North America, placing it among the world’s leading packaging innovations. In total, 481 entries from around the globe competed for WorldStar recognition this year.
