The award reflects Ansell’s ongoing progress advancing initiatives that contribute to a more sustainable future and the strength of the company’s environmental, social, and governance practices. The Gold award builds on previous EcoVadis Silver awards Ansell earned in 2022 and 2023.

The EcoVadis award methodology is rooted in internationally recognised sustainability standards, including the Global Reporting Initiative, United Nations Global Compact, and ISO 26000. The organization selects award winners by evaluating performance across four key themes: Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. Companies are scored in these areas based on their management systems, practices, and results, and are compared against other companies in the EcoVadis database. Ansell’s Gold rating places the company within the top 5% of over 1000 companies assessed by EcoVadis in the last 12 months, and in the top 2% of its industry category.
This EcoVadis Gold medal follows another significant August 2024 accolade Ansell received earlier this year from Morningstar Sustainalytics, a global authority in ESG research and data. For the second consecutive year, Ansell was named to Morningstar Sustainalytics’ Top-Rated ESG Companies List. Both recognitions position Ansell within the top decile of companies worldwide for sustainability performance.
